👤1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information you provide directly: when you contact us through our contact form or book a consultation, we collect your name, email address, company or organisation name (optional), the subject and content of your message, and any files you choose to attach.

Information collected automatically: like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used for security and to keep the website running reliably. We do not use this data to identify you personally.

Marketing preference: if you tick the optional updates box on our contact form, we record that choice together with your enquiry.

🔒2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the details you provide to respond to your enquiry, discuss your project or requested services, and provide the consulting or creative services you ask about.

If you have opted in to receive updates, we may occasionally send you news about AiBite Studio products and services. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

🔗4. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

We share your information only with service providers who help us operate this website and communicate with you: our website hosting provider (Cloudflare infrastructure), and our email delivery provider (Brevo), which transmits contact-form messages to our studio inbox (Google Gmail).

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and data-protection commitments. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

We may disclose information if required to do so by law or to protect our legal rights.

🌐5. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Some of our service providers (such as our hosting and email providers) may process data in countries outside the UK or EEA, including the United States.

Where such transfers occur, they are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision covering the receiving country.

🕐6. DATA RETENTION

Contact-form enquiries (including attachments) are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, and are periodically reviewed and deleted when no longer needed — normally no later than 24 months after our last contact with you.

If you opt in to updates, we keep your contact details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

Records relating to paid services may be kept longer where required by law (for example, accounting records).

🛡7. YOUR RIGHTS

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; ask us to correct inaccurate data; ask us to delete your data; restrict or object to our processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe we have handled your data improperly.

🍪8. COOKIES AND TRACKING

Our website does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

We use only the minimal technical storage strictly necessary for the website to function and remain secure. Because we use no optional cookies, no cookie consent banner is required.

If we introduce analytics or other optional cookies in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

🧒9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our website and services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

📄10. POLICY UPDATES

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the effective date shown below.

Significant changes will be highlighted on this page. Your continued use of the website after changes take effect indicates acceptance of the updated policy.

This policy was last updated on 14 July 2026.
